Building Lasting Memories Official Rules

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: A purchase does not increase chances of winning.



2. HOW TO ENTER:
   1. Entries must be completed using one of the four (4) eligible building plans available either at participating Lowe's locations or at www.SkilBuildingMemories.com.
   2. A complete entry form must be submitted online when uploading video or photo entries, or enclosed with photos if submitted via U.S. Postal Services.
   3. Video entries must be uploaded to SKIL Building Memories Facebook page.
   4. Photo may be uploaded to www.SkilBuildingMemories.com or sent via U.S. Postal Service to the following address:

      SKIL Power Tools is not responsible for postage costs.
   5. All entries submitted with photos only must include four (4) shots: three (3) shots during construction plus one (1) shot of the completed project.
   6. Incomplete or illegible photo entries, or entries without a signature or online acknowledgement of rules/conditions, will not be honored.
   7. SKIL is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible, incomplete, incorrect, misrouted or postage due photo entries/mail.
   8. Photo entries become the property of SKIL and will not be returned.
   9. Photo entries are not eligible if retouching has been done to enhance the look of the final project submitted.



3. ENTRY DEADLINE: Contest starts at 12:00:00 a.m. EDT on May 11, 2009. Online entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. on July 10, 2009, EDT. All entries submitted via U.S. Postal Service must be postmarked by July 10, 2009, and received by sponsor by July 24, 2009.



4. JUDGING:
   1. Each entry will be judged according to the quality of the completed project shown in the submitted video and/or photos. The top entry for each project plan will win a Grand prize package.
   2. The 2009 Building Memories winner selection will be conducted by a SKIL internal judging panel, whose decisions are final. SKIL reserves the exclusive right to determine winners and reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the Contest without notice.
   3. Winners will be notified by mail on or about 09/01/09.



5. PRIZES:
   • GRAND PRIZE
     • Four tickets for Busch Entertainment Corp ("BEC") park admission
     • Hotel accommodations for a family of four (4 days/3 nights) at hotel chosen by BEC
     • Round-trip airfare for family of four, from airport chosen by BEC nearest to appropriate park
     • Four days car rental
     • Each trip is valued at $3,000
   
   
   • 2nd PRIZE:
     • 8 2ND Prize winners will receive a SKIL Benchtop Workshop including a table saw, miter saw, drill press, grinder and band saw
     • Each 2nd Prize is valued at approximately $485
   
   
   • 3rd PRIZE:
     • 20 3rd Prize winners will receive a SKIL 18V Lithium-Ion Combo Kit (model 2895LI-20)
     • Each 3rd Prize is valued at approximately $259
   
   
   • 4th PRIZE:
     • 100 4th Prize winners will receive a SKIL Power Wrench (model 2372-01)
     • Each 4th Prize is valued at approximately $39
   • Winners may not exchange prizes for cash value at any prize level



6. ELIGIBILITY:
   • Entries must include 1 adult at least 18 years or older at time of submission, and one child between the ages of 4 and 17 at the time of submission. All participants must submit a statement with their entry, indicating that they have jointly completed the project.
   • Open only to legal residents of the United States or Canada, including Alaska and Hawaii, excluding Puerto Rico, U.S. Territories and U.S. Possessions.
   • The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
   • All employees of Robert Bosch Tool Corporation, Lowe's and Anheuser Busch, any affiliates and subsidiaries, and the immediate families and household members of each, are not eligible to win.



7. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
   • Use of Winner's Name: By entering, each winner grants permission, without further compensation, to SKIL Power Tools and its agents and licensees, to use the nominee's name, voice, photograph, likeness, online images, all entry materials, and biographical material for broadcast, print and promotional purposes in connection with the Contest. Winners agree to be available for media interviews. Video interviews will be required of all grand prize winners and dependents prior to receiving awards.
   • Execution of Affidavit and Release: By entering, each winner agrees that if selected, he/she will sign an affidavit of eligibility and publicity release (where legal) and a waiver of liability. The prize will be forfeited and awarded to another participant if the selected winner does not execute and return the prepared form of affidavit, release and waiver within ten (10) days of prize notification, or if the selected inductee is not eligible in accordance with these rules. One (1) prize per person.
   • Release Station and Sponsor of Liability: By entering, winners agree to release SKIL Power Tools, and its officers, directors, employees and agencies from any claim, loss, liability, damage or injury of any kind arising from their participation in the Contest or their receipt or use of the Contest prize.
   • No Prize Substitutions: No cash substitute or transfer of prizes is available; however, SKIL Power Tools may, at its discretion, substitute prizes of equal or lesser value. Prizes are not transferable.
   • Taxes: Federal, state and local taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner, who will receive a 1099 tax form reflecting the actual value of any prize valued at $600 or more.



8. MISCELLANEOUS:
   • SKIL Power Tools shall have all rights to publicize the winners photo entries.
   • By submitting an entry, participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules.
   • SKIL Power Tools and its promotional and advertising agencies shall have no liability and shall be released and held harmless by participant(s) for any damage, loss or liability to person or property, due in whole or part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of prize or participation.
   • Any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this contest, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of litigation (including but not limited to class action), and exclusively by arbitration. Claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this contest, but in no event attorney's fees.
